Day 146 - Fishing

We went to James' parent's house for a cook out today. Katelyn loves to fish in the pond in their back yard!

We have this super pretty rose bush in our side yard. I wanted to take a picture of Katelyn by it, but she always acts like a dork and won't smile normal when it's sunny lol, so I only got one good one! I can't believe how grown up she looks lately!

Day 144 - BFF's

I love how sweet they are together!

Day 143 - Rain!

I'm sure I already posted playing in the rain pics for this year, but I just can't help it. They play so cute in the rain!!

Day 142 - Field Day

One more step closer to the end of the school year, today was Field Day! Emily and I went to cheer Katelyn on today. It was pretty fun.

Day 141 - Peekaboo

Emily loves our window SO much. She's always playing in it and watching outside. Luckily, we don't have blinds or anything in this window, so it's pretty safe for her to mess with. Today, she had fun playing peekaboo with Daddy.

Day 140 - Last Homework

At the beginning of the year, I took a picture of Katelyn doing her first ever homework. Today's picture is her last homework sheet of 1st grade. I thought she'd look a lot bigger in the last picture, but she doesn't really. And since Nana whacked her with a Frisbee last week, she even has matching ouchies on her nose, poor kid!

Day 139 - Skating Party

Katelyn's friend had a skating party for her birthday today! The girls had lots of fun! One of the things they do at the party is roll the dice. You can win glow sticks or pizza, but the kids ALWAYS pick the whipped cream pie. They either get to pie a friend or have someone pie them...if you'll remember at Katelyn's birthday, she wanted to be pied and at Lexi's, she BEGGED Lexi to pie her...what a goofy kid! She loved it though!

Day 138 - Nana's Porch

Today, we spent the day playing with water on Nana's porch!

Day 137 - Spa Day

A few days ago, I got a free sample of a face mask in the mail. Katelyn saw it and she was SOOO excited about it. I had no idea she knew what they were, but she wanted it so bad and she knew just how to use it. She's so funny. I texted Ricky to see if it was ok for Katelyn's face, and Ricky said if Katelyn was into them, she had a ton of stuff and she'd come over for a spa day! Katelyn was totally stoked! Emily thinks we've all lost our minfs, LOL!

Day 136 - Bad Mommy

This picture is SO embarassing. Emily is super fussy at dinner time. She's sleepy, I'm always making it when she's really hungry, and she's so so clingy! But a lot of times, I can't hold her while I cook, so I have to distract her. Usually, I can get away with one bribe, a snack, while she colors. But today, she's cutting some teeth and she just wasn't having it. She's 19 months old, she has her PACIFIER, a McDonald's sweet tea, cheese its, her blankie, and she's watching the kindle. Bad, Bad Mommy.

Day 135 - Fun in the Sun

Last year our big pool broke when we were cleaning it up at the end of the summer. Nana got Katelyn a pool pass for her birthday though, so we're not as sad about that as we were. But the pool isn't open yet and it is HOT outside! So Nana loaned us a little pool and the girls had a blast playing in it today!
