Jan 13 - Dinner with Nana

Nana took Katelyn on a special dinner date and to her gymnastics class tonight!

Jan 12 - Mail!!

We have a million toys and these two goofballs decided to pretend they were mailboxes today.

James got a gift card for Christmas for a restaurant and we had errands to run today so we decided to have lunch. When we sat down, Katelyn said "I'm going to sit by Emily!!" which never happens, one or both of them always insist on sitting by Mommy!

I got to sit beside James at a restaurant for the first time in forever!! I can't believe how big they're getting!

Jan 10 - Early Morning

I forgot to give Emily tylenol for her teeth last night, which meant she woke me up at 4 am! Yuck! I didn't get much sleep and neither did she, but lucky kid got to nap with Nana!

Jan 9 - Hair Stylist Katelyn

Emily let Katelyn fix her hair today, and the result was an adorable ponytail!! (She had to keep redoing it which is why they're eating dinner lol)

Jan 8 - Night Owl

Emily has been having trouble with teething, her molars are being a pain! She keeps waking up in the middle of the night and nothing makes her feel better but Mommy!

Jan 7 - Homework

Katelyn had to do homework today and Emily decided she needed to do some too!

Jan 6 - Coldest Day Ever

Well, that's kind of an exaggeration, but it's FREEZING! It's so cold that they cancelled school!!

The girls spent the day hanging out and coloring!

Jan 5 - Katelyn and Dustin

Dustin came to visit Katelyn tonight and bring her some little toys. So cute!

Jan 4 - IKEA Ice Cream

We went to visit Ricky at her new apartment today, which super close to IKEA, so of course we had to check it out! The girls love the ice cream there, we always have to stop for a cone on the way out.

Jan 3 - Organizing

I found a good deal on some storage cabinets today and decided to organize the playroom! Katelyn was excited to help me build them and she actually did a good job!! She was able to screw in the backs of the cabinet and she was so proud of herself!

Jan 2 - More Snow

Katelyn and Emily had a lot of fun in the snow with Daddy!

Jan 1 - New Years Day

There's a whole house to play in, but these girls only want to hang out with Nana!

Day 365 - New Years Eve

Katelyn and I love New Years Eve. It's fun to stay up late and wear silly hats and make noise. This year, like most of the last few, we were planning on it just being me and Katelyn, with a late visit from Nana and Pappap. But then we found out Uncle Matt was off and I texted Ricky and Mark...and imagine my surprise when my quiet NYE, turned into a super night with almost my whole family! (James still had to work.) Almost perfect start to 2014!

Day 364 - Good Bye, Christmas Tree

Katelyn is super sad that I took the Christmas tree down. I thought I'd be smart and do it after she went to bed, but she snuck out and caught me!

Day 363 - Breakfast for Dinner

Katelyn's favorite school lunch is Breakfast for Lunch. They have french toast sticks, hash browns, and orange smiles. I saw french toast sticks at the store today and thought I would surprise her! She was super happy to have her favorite lunch today!
