Day 264 - Homecoming

I can't believe it's already Homecoming time! Katelyn went with Dustin again this year and they were so cute!!

Since we no longer have carpet in our kitchen (or any room at all!!) and Emily has decided she's as big as Katelyn and doesn't want anymore baby stuff (except her diaper, she has zero interest in the potty), we've been letting her have a cup with no lid. She does super good!

Day 262 - A day with Emily

(She has been a whole week with no pacifier!!! The downside is that she's not napping. So tonight she was sitting on her barstool talking to me while I made dinner and I looked over at her and she was passed out! Poor Emily!)

Day 261 - New Playground

Our park got a new playground, so we had to go try it out!

Day 260 - Gymnastics Lessons

Katelyn spent her afternoon giving gymnastics lessons. Her "Winnie the Pooh" handwriting kills me, lol.

Day 259 - Good Night Moon

Emily is on her way to loving this book as much as Katelyn did!

Day 258 - Dinner with Emily

Emily is still insisting that she's far too big for a high chair. She's so big!

Day 257 - Build and Grow

Lowe's has a program called "Build and Grow" where kids can come once a month and make a free craft. I've seen it advertised a million times but it's super early on a Saturday and we're pretty lazy on the weekends. This Saturday though, we didn't have a game and the craft was a fire truck, which Emily LOVES right now, so we decided to go! It was so cute!! The girls got hammers and safety glasses and aprons and they made a cute firetruck. When they were done they got a badge for their apron! We're definitely planning to go again!

Day 256 - Varsity Night

Tonight was Varsity Night for the PeeWee Cheerleaders. Katelyn and her squad got to go to the Friday night game and cheer with the big girls! It was very fun! Daddy and Emily got to go with us and Katelyn got to stay and watch the whole game with her friends. Our team even won!

Day 255 - Bubble Bath

The only thing Emily likes about Katelyn going to school is getting to take a bath all by herself! She is obsessed with bubble baths lately!

Day 254 - Bus!

Pappap brought us a bus from his back to school display today! This was endless fun!

Day 253 - End of the pool days

Our new house came with a pool! The girls are really excited about it, but it's almost too cold to use it anymore. We're having trouble getting it ready to close though, so we decided to swim today anyway! They had a lot of fun, we're going to have an awesome summer next year!

Day 252 - Boots

In our new house, the girls shoes that they don't wear everyday are in their bedroom closet. Emily found her rain boots and she won't take them off!

Day 251 - Porch Swing

Katelyn picked out the girls outfits today and they looked so adorable, I had to take a picture! Emily would much rather run around the yard or dig in the dirt than pose for pictures, so I had to bribe her with Oreos...but it was totally worth it for the adorable picture!!

Day 250 - Beat the Eagles!

Another Saturday, another game! We won today!

Day 249 - Breakfast

Emily thinks our new counter is a diner. She comes out of her bedroom each morning, drops peep and her iPod on the counter, climbs up in her barstool and says "Snack!" And then waits patiently until I pour her cereal. So cute!

Day 248 - Breaking in our new backyard

We took a break today to play in the yard!

If you see all those toys behind the fence, our new neighbors have two little girls, ages 3 and 5! So perfect!!

Day 247 - Cowgirl Emily

Nana and I were running errands today with Emily. We finish checking out at Meijer and we're halfway out the door when Emily starts screaming "NO! Ride horse! Ride Horse, stop!!" Apparently, Emily recognizes Meijer and knows that she gets to ride the horse, even though last time we did it, she cried her eyes out, LOL!!

Day 246 - Cowgirl Katelyn

She wanted to dress like a cowgirl for some reason today!

Day 245 - Good night, new room!

Whew! It took forever, but we finally got the girls room together!! It was dark gray before and it took way more time than I expected to paint over!

Day 244 - Our New Fridge

Yes, that's right, the house doesn't get it's own post, but the fridge totally does, LOL!! For some reason (I'm sure it's Nana's fault) my girls LOVE ice. And much to their delight, our new fridge has an ice maker....and not just any ice maker, one that crushes up the ice!! This is pretty much their favorite thing ever, LOL!
