Day 346 - Elf On A Shelf

There's this goofy Christmas tradition thing called Elf on a Shelf.  You tell your kid the little elf comes alive at night and goes to the North Pole and tells Santa whether they were good or bad that day.  Then it comes back and hides somewhere in your house and waits for the next night.  I think it's a little bit creepy and kind of silly. But Katelyn decided she was really wanted one and it showed up today.

James is actually the most excited about doing it and he picked the elf's first "trick".

To say Katelyn was surprised is an understatement.  She was THRILLED.  It was pretty cool to see.
