Day 291 - Emily Day!!

Today was Emily's Day!  We'd been waiting forever and after I put Katelyn on the school bus, we headed to the hospital.   We had been told that Emily being baby #2, things would go quickly, so Nana and Katelyn planned to come to the hospital after Katelyn got out of school and visit Mommy for a minute and then hang out in the waiting room until Emily was born.

Emily had her own plans, however, and eventually, it got way past bedtime and I had to send Katelyn home.  She came in to visit me at 9:30 and I promised we would call her as soon as Emily arrived and she could come straight back to see us, no matter how late.  So of course, as soon as they got home, James had to text them and tell them to come back.   Emily arrived at 11:18 pm and this picture was taken right around midnight!

We had to promise Katelyn she could come straight back in the morning to get her to go home!
