Day 137 - 17 Weeks

Today, I am 17 weeks pregnant and Katelyn got to go to a doctor's visit with me.  It was supposed to be a quick one, just check my weight and listen to the baby's heartbeat.  But my doctor LOVES the ultrasound machine and since it wasn't being used and I had Katelyn with me, she let us look at the baby too!!  Katelyn LOVED seeing the new baby and told the doctor all about how she hopes it's a sister (the doctor whispered that she might be getting her wish!).  Katelyn thought it was very cool that we could see the baby moving it's arms around and she was proud of herself for pointing out the head on the screen.  She got a picture of the baby's arm to take home too (since that's pretty much all the baby would show us, lol!!)  On the way out of the office, we picked up a sample bag, because for some weird reason, it had a tube of toothpaste in it that Katelyn was dying to have.  She was really excited when we got home and found a tiny diaper sample too!  We had to put it on baby and then Katelyn wanted that to be our picture of the day.  I chose this one, because even though you can't really see the diaper, you can see how excited Katelyn is about the whole thing!
