Day 251 - Kiki

Okay, so I posted about this doll that my mom made for Emily a few days ago.  Emily didn't really take to her at first, but after a little bit of warming up, she goes all over with us!!  Emily started out calling her Kitty, but I didn't want to encourage her to do that, so she wouldn't get the word confused.  When Emily says Kitty, it sounds like Kee Kee, so we call the doll Kiki and the cat is still kitty.  Emily says KiKi fast for her doll and Kee Kee slower for Kitty now too, so it's two distinct words.  (Side note, she says at least 8 things now and none of them are Mama.  Of course.)  Emily loves to rub her crochet blankets to go to sleep, so now she carries KiKi everywhere with her and rubs her hair to go to sleep.
