It was another rainy day here. So rainy that Katelyn slept in until almost 11, because it was just too dark to wake up, lol!! She spent the first part of her day stomping through the house, in her new sneakers, because they light up and a dreary day is perfect for light up shoes! Then she decided that stomping wasn't enough fun, she wanted to dance. So we got out the Wii and the Just Dance game, that I think might actually be Nana's. 900 repeats of "Who Let the Dog's Out" and "If You Wanna Be My Lover" later, she was ready for a new game and after searching the whole Wii Store, we decided on Ecco Jr. which actually turned out to be the perfect game for her. She gets to steer a dolphin through the ocean and there is no way for her to die. She loves it!
A side effect of our Wii day, is that Katelyn and I had to have a serious chat before going into a funeral home about why "If You Wanna Be My Lover" isn't really an appropriate song for her to be singing to herself under her breath. (James' grandfather passed away this weekend and we had to attend his visitation tonight.)
