Day 314 - Sick and tired, lol

On Monday, Katelyn came home from school with a note that she failed a hearing test.  (I absolutely HATE these tests they do at school, but I can see how some kids would never get them if they didn't do them.)  Anyway, she's never failed a hearing test before and Google said that a cold, an ear infection, or something similar can throw them off, so we made a pediatrician appointment for today.

When the doctor looked at her ears, she said she's got a bit of an ear infection in the ear she failed on and she passed a hearing test for us at the doctors.  So no worries, though we'll double check at her 7 year check up to be safe.  Since we were already there though, and Emily was feeling all kinds of miserable, we had them check her ears too and poor thing has an ear infection in BOTH ears.  The third ear infection in her little life then, poor kid.   Fingers crossed we grow out of this.   So we went and filled prescriptions for both girls and I pull into the driveway at home to find my back seat like this:

Passed out, lol!!  Hopefully, the meds kick in for them fast!
