Day 247 - Goodbye Summer!

One of our local radio stations, WEBN, puts on a GIGANTIC fireworks show for Labor Day every year to say good bye to summer.  We went two years ago and really loved it.  This year, our usual 4th of July fireworks show was cancelled and James promised Katelyn he would take her to see these instead.

He got off work late, it was pouring rain, and everyone was in a bad mood, but he kept his promise and we had a really good time, even though we got soaked!

Katelyn had fun jumping in puddles while we waited for the show to start.

And everyone enjoyed seeing what is probably one of the best fireworks shows in the country.   (To give you an idea of the scale of these fireworks, that's a 4 lane bridge the fire works are above!)
