Day 261 - Tom's Ice Cream Bowl

We came home from our trip today.   James had to call his boss and see whether he worked tonight or in the morning and when he mentioned where we were, Craig said we HAD to stop and get ice cream at Tom's.  It's one of the Top Ten Places in the United States to get ice cream and it was conveniently located in Zanesville, Oh which was right on our way home.

They make the ice cream there in the shop!  They also make chocolates, fresh roasted nuts, and they had fries and sandwiches that smelled amazing, but we barely had room for the ice cream.

James ordered a banana split and this is what arrived at our table:

Yum!

The restaurant only has about 12 tables, it's very small.   They brought our sundaes out one at a time, first James, then mine, and then Katelyn's.  On the way out the door, a lady stopped by our table and told me she was so impressed at Katelyn's behavior! She said Katelyn just sat so sweetly and patiently and waited for her ice cream and another kid would have thrown a fit!  I was so proud of K!
