Day 232 - Railroad Days

I've lived in Carlisle for a long time, and I don't think I've been to Railroad Days more than once before.  This year, I saw a sign for it, and when I was looking to see if there would be any yummy food, I noticed they were having a parade Saturday morning.  Katelyn talks about parades all the time (she saw one on tv) so I knew she would love to go.  We got up this morning and drove a few blocks to figure out where to sit to see the parade.  I parked where a bunch of other cars were and hoped for the best, lol!!

There were a bunch of kids across from us, and I noticed they all had Easter baskets, and I thought, that's weird!  I wonder if they throw candy?  Well, the answer is yes!  Apparently, they do.

We ended up with 5 lbs of candy!  Katelyn was thrilled!!  After the parade, we went home and waited for Daddy to get off of work, and then went back so Katelyn could play on the bounce houses and we could get lunch.   Our bounce house tickets also included the rock wall and Katelyn HAD to try it!

She was too light though and the rope kept pulling her up and scaring her, so she didn't get higher than this, but I was super proud of her for trying!
